Oh....!!....My God....!!....!!!....
Once, Almighty Lord Brahma, the creator of “Brahman”-the Universe, decided to make a trip to “Bhumandal”-the planet Earth, His greatest Creation ever.
Therefore,
next day, early morning Lord Brahma on His beautiful
“Brahma Kamalam”-the lotus flower, set for planet Earth.
The scenic beauty of the Earth at dawn, the time of day when light first appears in the sky just before the sun rises. This time according to Hindu mythology is considered as the most pious time of worshipping “Gods” and “Devtas”, appeared so mesmerizing and pleasant to Lord Brahma that feeling proud of his very own creation he exclaimed in happiness-
The scenic beauty of the Earth at dawn, the time of day when light first appears in the sky just before the sun rises. This time according to Hindu mythology is considered as the most pious time of worshipping “Gods” and “Devtas”, appeared so mesmerizing and pleasant to Lord Brahma that feeling proud of his very own creation he exclaimed in happiness-
“Oh..!!...my God....!!....it is me who created this beauty.....”
The Almighty got lost in the lyrical chirping of morning birds, welcoming the "Lord of the Lords" in its own style and fashion. And felt the eternal purity in the presence of cold morning dew on the fresh green grass cooling the entire scene with its fresh rejuvenating fragrance. He listened to the ringing of golden bells in the temples welcoming His divine arrival on the Earth. On His way, God Brahma even rejoices the greetings of beautiful peacocks dancing with their plumes stretched upright. The entire Earth seems to be harmonious and pleasant with nature at its best.
But as the time cycle moves on....
Slowly......slowly....this
misty beauty of nature began to clarify and an entire new picture of Earth came
into light.
And eventually, Lord
Brahma eyes fell on the “Manavas”-the human beings on the Earth whom he has
created with utmost precision and care. But too much of Almighty amazement, he
was unable to recognize His very own creation. As the human beings he created
in heaven and send to Earth were all pure, divine, pious and happy souls filled
with love and satisfaction.
But unfortunately,
the human beings he watches now are no more those divine souls he created. Instead,
they appeared to be Him absolutely impious and polluted souls unhappy to the
core. Thus, Lord Brahma crying in grief questioned himself-
“Oh..!!...my God......!!....is it me who created these dead souls....??....??..”
“Oh..!!...my God......!!....is it me who created these dead souls....??....??..”
Therefore, God filled with agony and disappointment says-
“hey, “Manav” my child, I have created
this beautiful world so that you all could live here happily cherishing your
life and my creations but I am really shocked to see that you actually have no
time to thank me for your divine birth on this pious planet. I am really grieved
to see you all living in this state of frenzy and despair forgetting the real
essence of life which I gave you to enjoy and live happily. Unfortunately, it seems
as if "you are living just because you have to die one day” instead of "living
life because you are born”. Thus, Lord Brahma once more shook his head in
pain and cried.....
“Oh...!!....my God.....!!.....how my creation got lost in the dark ugly clouds of jealousy, hatred and revenge? Although, the mind I actually created was enriched with beautiful thoughts of love, mutual respect and brotherhood. I really feel my children have forgotten all their divinity and wisdom for sure.”
As the darkness was slowly prevailing in the atmosphere and Lord Brahma was moving ahead in pain to inspect His creation much more deeply. The Almighty was shocked to see His own children indulged in all kinds of wrong deeds. This ugly sight grieved the soul of Lord to the core and in pain he says-
“How can my holy creations get indulged in these unethical deeds? And saying so
the limbs of Almighty began to shiver and His body turned cold. And the
Almighty cried in disgust.....
Oh....!!....my God......!!....it's not me who created this Earth...these cannot be my children.......
Oh....!!....my God......!!....it's not me who created this Earth...these cannot be my children.......
With the twinkling star coming into the scene and night appearing closer and closer, the darkness of the night prevails the heart and soul of Lord Brahma ....and in this state of complete dilemma the Almighty asked one more last time...........
Oh..!!...my God....!!....is this the Earth I created..???........
......and returned to heaven in pain and disgust......
